2012 Radio Kerry Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle
The Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle 2011 took place on Saturday, July 2nd 2011 and was a resounding success. This year we recorded our highest ever entry. The event, sponsored by Radio Kerry’s Community Fund, is the biggest one day charity fundraising event in Munster and sees thousands of leisure cyclists experience a fun and rewarding day’s cycling, while at the same time fundraising for worthy Charities.
This year’s lucky seven beneficiaries were the Irish Kidney Association, Kerry Parents & Friends Association, Friends of St. Joseph's Home, Recovery Haven, The Irish Society for Autism, Skellig Stars and the Irish Pilgrimage Trust, all of whom provide vital services for people in need in the Kerry area.
The 112 mile leisure cycle takes place around the picturesque Ring of Kerry and not including this year, the Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle has raised over €4.1 million for Kerry Charities.
Enquiries on the cycle can be made by phone to (064) 6671900. Anyone wishing to make a direct donation can also do so by using these contacts.
