MyCharity.ie
- Go to the MyCharity site, www.mycharity.ie
- Select the option 'Create your fundraising page'.
- Select your charity by typing Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle in the search box and press the 'Search' button.
- Next, select the 'Sporting' option for the type of fundraising page you would like to create.
- Select the date of your event: 2nd July 2011, then on the next screen select the event from the list, followed by selecting how long you would like the page to stay open after the event has happened (usually 1-2 months would suffice).
- Then you will be asked to register on the site or log-in if you have used the site before.
(If you are registering and receive the error message 'Email address already in use' on the registration form, this means your email address has previously been used on the site. Perhaps your sponsored someone a year or two back? You can request a new password if you have forgotten in this case).
- Next, when logged in, you will come to the Fundraising Page where you can edit your page as you would like it. Just make sure to press 'Publish Your Page' at the bottom of the page when you are done to save the page.
- The next screen will congratulate you on setting up your page and also send you on an confirmation email with the same message. You are also given a few options on what you would like to do. Just email your friends with the link to your page and they can donate by credit or debit card.
- The money goes securely to the mycharity.ie account and then on to the account of The Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle. It couldn't be easier or safer for both you and the charity.
- If you have any queries on any of the steps above, please don't hesitate to contact the MycCharity office on 1890 929944 and they will be happy to help!
