'Funds raised from this year's Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle event are vital to help us maintain and expand our services including our 24-hour crisis help line and the delivery of our new Bereavement Counselling service.'
Pieta House offers free, accessible and community-based services for people that have attempted, are thinking about or have been bereaved by suicide, and people engaging in self-harm.
Our around the clock services are provided by fully accredited therapists across 15 centres nationwide, through our 24/7 free-call Helpline and through our mobile Suicide Bereavement Liaison Service.
We work to bring people from a place where suicide and self-harm seems like the only option, to one of comfort and hope. Since opening the doors of Pieta House in 2006, we have supported over 30,000 service users in our treatment centres and over 35,000 callers through our Helpline Service.
Help us continue to make a lifesaving difference this year. Funds raised will help to:
- Create a Bereavement Counselling service
- Run our 24-hour crisis helpline
- Fund a Suicide Bereavement Liaison Service in the Kerry Region
- Maintain and expand our services
